Common symptoms of PMS

  • Depression
  • Angry outbursts

  • Crying spells

  • Social withdrawal (i.e. avoiding people and activities)
  • Poor focusing attention
  • Sleeping-disorder (insomnia)
  • Increased sleeping during day time
  • Changes in sexual desire

Physical symptoms include the following

  • Thirst and appetite changes (food cravings)
  • Breast tenderness
  • Excess gas production and weight gain
  • Headache
  • Swelling of the hands or feet
  • Aches and pains
